A market for knowledge utility, not merely copies of data
One possible outcome is an economy in which the most important commercial product is the benefit produced by a knowledge asset, not a copy of the underlying file. A customer may obtain a fault prediction, an optimization result, a verified research method or an authorized computation without acquiring the training material or intellectual-property title. That is particularly valuable where privacy, trade secrets or territorial rules limit the movement of data.
The result would be a richer market of narrowly defined permissions and useful outputs. It would still coexist with ordinary software licences, open-source software, patent licences and conventional data markets. BTG's value would have to come from better integration, reliable evidence, useful rights portability, customer experience and operating economics, not from claiming that no alternatives exist.
