STRONGER COMMUNITIES
BRIGHTER FUTURES

Blackmore Technology Group Limited believes that giving back to the communities where we live and operate is part of our responsibility. We aim to contribute our time, expertise and resources to opportunities that help local people grow, create and succeed.

OUR COMMUNITY COMMITMENT

Supporting our community

Share expertise, time and practical resources where we operate.

Youth development

Help young people discover what they can build, not just what they can consume.

Volunteering

Encourage participation through time, mentoring and community partnerships.

Real-world skills

Turn curiosity into hands-on project experience and creative confidence.

Stronger Boundary region

Contribute to a more capable, resilient and connected local community.

TURNING INTEREST INTO OPPORTUNITY

Children already love video games, apps and robots. We want to help them learn to build those things themselves — from their first idea to a finished project they can proudly show their family.

Boundary Tech Generation is a proposed BTG-supported community programme for Boundary Country, British Columbia. The proposed eight-session pathways cover game creation, apps, low-voltage robotics and inventions at four age levels for ages 6–17. The blueprint calls for supervised hands-on projects, private family demonstrations, guardian-controlled sharing, accessibility, volunteer screening and no use of child projects in BTG Bridge, FarmNodes or Exchange. Venue, volunteers, insurance and enrolment remain unconfirmed.

BUILD SOMETHING OF YOUR OWN

Each workshop works toward a usable creation, not simply completing a demonstration.

FOUR AGE-APPROPRIATE LEARNING LEVELS

THE SAME CURIOSITY. DIFFERENT STARTING POINTS.

Learning activities are adapted for ages 6–8, 9–11, 12–14 and 15–17. Age is a recommended starting point, not a ceiling: individual experience and accessibility needs guide every project.

LEVEL 01

Little Creators

Ages 6–8

Visual blocks, playful storytelling, animations, simple coding and hands-on exploration.

PROJECT OUTCOMEMake a character move, a simple game or an electronic light react.

LEVEL 02

Young Builders

Ages 9–11

Multi-level games, beginner app interfaces, sensors and programmable robots.

PROJECT OUTCOMEFinish a playable game, interactive app or working robot.

LEVEL 03

Junior Developers

Ages 12–14

Game engines, beginning written code, software testing, robots and electronics.

PROJECT OUTCOMEBuild a more advanced working game, app or robotics project.

LEVEL 04

Youth Innovators

Ages 15–17

Independent software projects, robotics design, AI literacy, 3D creation and deployment.

PROJECT OUTCOMETest, document and present an independently designed technology project.
EXPLORE LEVEL 4 WORKSHOPS →
Designed for real outcomes. An early learner might build a star-collecting game. An older participant might create a multi-level game with original mechanics, debugging and an exportable build. Both have accomplished a project appropriate to their abilities.

BTG Builder — build, connect and program

BTG Builder is our developing digital Building Truss Grid construction environment. Young people work with correctly modelled beams, connectors and mechanisms to construct 3D kits and original Free Build projects, then progress toward wiring, programming and operating simulated machines in one Grand Forks-area BTG World.

The C6 crane, scalable world grids and Free Build are central to development. The full crane commissioning workflow and iOS release are still in engineering, not launched products.

A COMMITMENT THAT GOES FURTHER

PEOPLE MAKE STRONGER PLACES

Giving back is a high priority for Blackmore Technology Group. We believe success should be measured not only by the technologies we develop, but by the positive difference we help make in the places we call home.

That includes volunteering, sharing practical skills, supporting local causes, encouraging mentors and collaborating with community organizations. Our youth technology initiative is one proposed expression of that wider commitment.

Boundary Tech Generation — complete workshop curriculum

Boundary Tech Generation is a proposed, distinct community education programme, based on the 36-page blueprint dated 22 October 2026. Eight-session pathways support ages 6–17 through games, apps, low-voltage robots and inventions. It is not a BTG commercial-data intake scheme and child projects are not Exchange instruments.
